Trust · Security · Honest answers

Your questions,
answered straight.

Before you hand any part of your reputation to a firm you've never worked with, you want straight answers. Here they are. No legalese, no hedging, no "we'll discuss that on the call."

Everything below is how PRAGMA™ works day to day. The short version: "Are you the answer?" first — a measurement you can run yourself, not a score you're asked to trust — you're live in about a day, every asset is yours, and you can cancel anytime.

Security & your data

The most-asked questions, ranked by how often we get them.

Where does my online presence and data live while PRAGMA works with me?
On your own property. The pages we build sit on your website and your domain. Your business profiles, listings, and reviews sit in your own accounts. PRAGMA™ works inside those accounts to build and defend your presence; PRAGMA does not host a private copy and there is no PRAGMA platform your business runs on. Everything is portable, and everything keeps running if PRAGMA ever vanishes.
Plain English: your presence lives in your house, under your name. We come in to build it and keep it strong, and it stays yours.
Do you train AI models on my data?
No. PRAGMA™ does not train any model on your business. Managed AI-answer visibility works the other way around: we strengthen the owned, public presence the AI engines already read — your pages, profiles, reviews, and structured data — so that ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, and Google's AI Overview cite and recommend you. Your private information is never fed into any model.
Plain English: we make the public side of your business easy for the AI engines to trust. We don't hand your private data to anyone.
Who at PRAGMA can see my accounts?
A small, named team on your engagement — the principal and any cleared collaborator. Access is scoped, logged, and revocable in one click. And it is deliberately narrow: we work within your website, your business profiles and listings, and your review platforms. That's the whole surface. Nothing about your internal operations is ever in view.
Plain English: a small, named team, with keys only to your public presence — and you can change the locks any time.
Will you ever touch my internal systems — accounting, finances, private tools?
No. Never. Managed AI-answer visibility does not need them and PRAGMA™ does not ask for them. We do not connect to your accounting or finances, your internal messaging, or any private business system. Everything we do lives on the outside of your business — the presence the world and the AI engines see — not the inside.
Plain English: we work on your storefront, never your back office. Your internal systems are none of our business.
Is the presence you build secure and durable?
Yes, because it sits on platforms you already trust — your own website and host, your Google Business Profile and other reputable listings, and established review platforms, each with their own security, sign-in, and controls. PRAGMA™ works within those platforms using least-privilege access. If you operate in a regulated field, we keep everything we publish inside the lines your rules require and flag anything that changes the plan before we start.
Plain English: it's built on the same trusted platforms you already use, with only the access we need — and if you have rules to follow, we follow them too.

What we need from you to begin

Very little. Everything sits under your own accounts and domain.

How much of my time will this take?
Almost none. Start with "Are you the answer?" — you don't lift a finger for that. If you go ahead, we need a short conversation about your brand voice and the customers you want to win, and a quick pass to grant access to the right accounts. From there PRAGMA™ does the building. You're live in about a day, not months.
Plain English: "Are you the answer?" first, one short conversation, and a few permissions. We do the rest.
What access will you need from me?
Three things, all on the outside of your business and all under your own accounts: your website or CMS so we can publish pages and structured data, your Google Business Profile and other business listings, and your review platforms. That's it. Least-privilege access, documented, and revocable in one click. Nothing about your internal operations, finances, or private systems is touched.
Plain English: your site, your business listings, your reviews. We work within them — and we take nothing more.
What do I need to have ready?
Whatever you already have — your existing website, your logo and brand basics, a sense of what makes you the right choice, and any reviews or profiles already out there. If a page is missing, we write it. If your profile is thin, we build it out. If your structured data doesn't exist yet, we create it. You don't need to be "ready" to start. Getting your owned presence in shape is the work.
Plain English: bring what you have. Whatever's missing, we build as part of the job.
Do I need a technical team?
No. PRAGMA™ does the technical work — the pages, the profiles, the reviews, the structured and entity data that the AI engines read. You don't need an SEO specialist or a developer on staff, and you don't need to learn a new tool. You get a clear, plain-language picture of where you stand and where you're headed, measured against the public AAIR/AIVI standard.
Plain English: you don't need to hire a tech person. That's what we are.

The engagement mechanics

How fast am I live?
Start with "Are you the answer?" — a check you run yourself to see whether the AI engines name you today. If you go ahead, your owned presence is built and live in about a day — real pages, a sharpened profile, structured data in place — and it keeps strengthening from there. This isn't a roadmap you wait on. It's a position you start holding right away.
Plain English: "Are you the answer?" first, live in about a day, stronger every week after.
What does PRAGMA cost?
Two motions, depending on the size of the job. Self-serve runs $0–$599: start with "Are you the answer?" — a check you run yourself to see where you stand — then a simple monthly subscription once you're live — $99/mo Presence, $299/mo Growth, $599/mo Market Leader. Multi-location or enterprise is by inquiry, handled hands-on as a managed rollout. Either way, no setup maze and you can cancel anytime.
Plain English: free to look. Self-serve is a flat monthly fee once you're live. Bigger, multi-location jobs are scoped by inquiry. Cancel whenever.
How do I know the score isn't graded by the same people you pay?
Because the methodology is published and reproducible — anyone can re-run it and get the same number. And it's issued through the AI Visibility Institute, independent of any engagement. Like a J.D. Power award or a Nielsen rating: the measure stands on its own, or it's worthless.
Plain English: the score is reproducible and independently issued — not a number we grade ourselves.
Can I cancel?
Yes. The subscription is month-to-month — cancel anytime. When you cancel, you keep every asset, because every page, profile, review, and piece of structured data already lives on your own site and in your own accounts. What ends is our ongoing defense of your position. What you built stays exactly where it is: with you.
Plain English: leave whenever you like. You keep everything we built.
Who owns the work?
You do. Own the asset — every page, profile, review asset, and piece of structured and entity data is created on your own site and in your own accounts, in your name. PRAGMA™ never holds it hostage. Ownership isn't a perk we grant; it's the whole point. Own the asset. We defend the position.
Plain English: all of it is yours from day one. If you fire us tomorrow, you walk away with everything.
What happens if PRAGMA ceases operations?
Your presence keeps running. Because every asset already lives on your own website and in your own accounts, there is no PRAGMA server to switch off and nothing central to fail. Your pages stay up, your profiles stay live, your reviews stay put. What stops is the ongoing defense — and anyone qualified can pick that up, because it's all sitting in your accounts, in plain view. No lock-in. Ever.
Plain English: even if PRAGMA disappears tomorrow, your presence doesn't go dark.

Legal & paperwork

Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. PRAGMA™ signs mutual NDAs before any discussion that involves your confidential information. A standard mutual NDA is available on request, and we can work with your own form. Anything sensitive you share while we build and defend your presence is covered.
Plain English: yes, we sign confidentiality agreements before we get into the details of your business.
Who owns the pages, content, and data you create?
Everything built for your business — the pages, the profile copy, the review responses, the structured and entity data — is owned by you, published under your domain and your accounts. PRAGMA's own methods and the way we measure against the AAIR/AIVI standard remain PRAGMA's. The agreement spells out that line clearly — nothing ambiguous about who owns what.
Plain English: everything we make for you is yours. Our method is ours. It's written down.
What about liability if something goes wrong?
The agreement includes a standard professional-services liability framework — PRAGMA™ carries professional liability insurance, the contract caps damages at the fees paid for the relevant period, and a mutual indemnification clause covers third-party claims arising from the work. Reasonable, defensible, and negotiable for larger engagements with specific risk profiles.
Plain English: we carry insurance and our contract has the standard protections. If you have a lawyer, they won't blink at it.

While we're working together

What does getting started look like?
It starts with "Are you the answer?" — a plain-language check you run yourself on whether the AI engines currently name you when someone asks who to choose in your category. If you go ahead, we build your owned presence right away: the pages that answer the questions buyers ask, a sharpened business profile, a review posture worth citing, and the structured data that ties it all together. Live in about a day.
Plain English: run the check first, then we build your presence and you're live fast.
Why a monthly subscription — isn't the work done once I'm live?
Getting found is step one; staying found is the job. AI answers re-rank as the engines retrain. Competitors keep publishing. Reviews and business data age. Left alone, visibility erodes — quietly, then all at once. The subscription buys the ongoing defense of your position: we keep watching the answers, refreshing what's slipping, and holding the ground you've won. You're paying to stay the recommended answer, not for access to your own accounts.
Plain English: the AI answers keep changing. The monthly fee is what keeps you at the top of them.
What's included in the subscription?
The full defense, no per-change fees. We keep your pages fresh as questions and competitors shift, manage and respond to reviews, keep your business profile and listings accurate and complete, and maintain the structured and entity data the AI engines rely on. All of it is tracked against the public AAIR/AIVI standard, so you can see the position — not just take our word for it.
Plain English: pages, reviews, profiles, and data — all kept sharp and all measured, every month.
How do I know it's actually working?
You watch the same number we do. PRAGMA™ measures your standing against the public AAIR/AIVI standard — how often, and how favorably, the AI engines name you when buyers ask who to choose. You see where you started, where you are, and where a slip would have cost you. Plain numbers, plainly reported.
Plain English: a public scorecard for how often the AI answers recommend you — checked over time.

The short version

if you remember only five things

Every asset lives on your site and in your accounts, not ours. We never touch your internal systems — only your public presence. You own everything we build for you. You can cancel anytime and keep all of it. If we ever disappear, your presence keeps running. Own the asset; we defend the position.

If a question isn't answered here, ask it in the application form. Robert reads every application personally. The questions that come up most often get added to this page — that's how the trust surface gets sharper over time.
